FP Dresser--part III

Either I am totally losing my mind or someone is sneaking into my house, pilfering through my purse, and deleting pictures from my camera in the middle of the night. The second choice is totally plausible!! Well, I could have sworn I took a before pic of this dresser, but it's nowhere to be found. :( But, the good news is it looked just like the other pieces I did last week. :) Love the dresser ALMOST as much as the hutch  (ok, not true, the hutch wins, hands down), but it is a great looking piece of furniture! :)

All 6 of these pieces are sitting in my shop and they look sharp together!

Can't wait to post what I did yesterday and today (I hate waiting for things to dry!!)

French Provincial Nightstand

This is the little sister to this hutch.  :)  She's very sweet, too!

One of the things I love about this style of furniture is the hardware!

French Provincial Hutch

I absolutely love French Provincial pieces.  I've had my eye out for a while now, but can't ever seem to find anything.  Last week my client brought me a whole bedroom set of it!!  Lucky me! ;)  There were 6 pieces all together.  Her daughter is 12 and she wanted something she could use now and would also transition with her.  She was also hoping some of the pieceswould work in other parts of her home.  We decided on black.  I know I've said this a bazillion times (more?), but I can't believe what a difference paint can make!  You can see the little nightstand that matches here.

Looking a little tired and dated....

I'm so excited!!!  I'm clapping in my head!!  If I hadn't painted it myself I wouldn't believe it was the same piece! :)

This is probably the lightest I've ever distressed.  I love how it's just enough to bring out the lines and details of the piece without drawing attention.
