This is the first time I heard of using baking soda for chalk paint, why did you choose that as opposed to plaster of paris, is it more refined?Mary K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17696218067214163344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589172193003935381.post-34832545046472197382015-08-22T10:25:46.642-05:002015-08-22T10:25:46.642-05:00Another day another freaking awesome pin.Another day another freaking awesome pin.Blisshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12477357780866991562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589172193003935381.post-91119208173514561552015-08-21T16:41:47.102-05:002015-08-21T16:41:47.102-05:00That turned out very lovely! It is stunning! Your finish work on the drawers is so creative and makes the inside a beautidul surprise. Love that beading arounf the decorative ovals. I just acquired an old terribly beat up beautiful desk. I have been working on the desk itself to makle the necessary repairs. I have a friend who makes chalk paint and I decided on a color that is a bit more teal than yours. I've been debating whether or not to use a stain on the desk top or paint it, I've changed my mind about 4 times now. Lookiing at yours makes me think I want to stain it, you may have just help me make up mind!Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05149588322029389324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589172193003935381.post-61612115832760113072015-08-21T16:19:18.043-05:002015-08-21T16:19:18.043-05:00Oh my goodness, you turned this into a piece of ar...Oh my goodness, you turned this into a piece of art! I paint a fair bit but have never tried those brands of creams and waxes or the papers.Rustic Maple Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16216744907648848408noreply@blogger.com
