I absolutely love the shape of this little dresser my client wanted redone for her little boys. We decided on a neutral gray and fun knobs for now (they can easily be replaced when they are older, or if she decides to use it somewhere else in the house--think black pulls for a more grown up look).
Before
You can see on the front, between the drawers, that some of the veneer is missing. I just peeled the rest of it off and sanded it smooth.
I found these knobs a few months ago and have been waiting for something (anything!) to put them on. They are so perfect! :) I seriously couldn't wait for the paint to dry so I could put them on. I decided the hardware is one of my favorite parts of a piece of furniture. It's always the finishing touch that makes it something special. I love how different hardware can totally change the look and feel of a piece.
Don't they just make you want to turn them?? Is it only me?? :)
She needed something really durable for the top cuz her boys use it for a springboard. ;) Decided to leave it wood and did 3 coats of poly.
Love these cute little feet!
color = Gray Matters SW
knobs = Hobby Lobby
As usual, I am totally impressed!
