While I was at my daughter's softball tournament a friend of ours was at a furniture auction. He kept texting pics and calling to ask if I was interested in anything. Love friends like that! Of course, there were some things I just couldn't say no to, and this set of tables was one of them. They're brand new, but a little dinged up in spots which is why they were being auctioned.
The wood tone was such a pretty color that I decided to paint them black and do a really heavy rub through to show all of those pretty tones (and so they didn't look too formal).
