Wardrobe

Ok, I must admit, I nicknamed this one "the beast".  It's absolutely, ginormously (don't you just love that word?!), HUGE!  It's over 6 feet tall and about 4wide.  Imagine the square footage of storage in this baby.  I love that it's a hand-made piece of furniture and that it has that feeling to it.  My hubby added shelves on the inside for her and I gave her some fun knobs to break up all that white.

Ania picked these out and I <3 them

This ended up being too big for my client's space so it is:

Desk Redo

My client was looking for something to use as a vanity.  I saw this little desk and thought it would be perfect.  She said she liked the look of  this dresser, but wanted to incorporate lime green somehow.  Of course, I loved that idea!

am in love with the hardware--sometimes I think that's my favorite part!

Seriously so cute!

I love the old look of the paint, the new look of the hardware, and the vintage feel of the fabric all together.

Antique Table

This is a great antique table.  It has so many details--a dream for someone who loves to distress! :)  I liked it before, but painted black it's gOrGeOuS!  This is the last black piece this week--up next turquoise! Woo hoo.  (Not that I didn't enjoy doing all black, but time to move on!)

Didn't mess around--went straight to my 60 grit sanding block.  Love that thing!

I don't even need to say anything about these legs do I?

Love the shape of this top.

Antique Chest of Drawers

This chest of drawers is the companion to this dresser.  The dresser was for my client's son and this chest of drawers is for her daughter.  She said she was so glad they are able to use these two pieces again--that's why I love doing this. :)

Just updating the hardware can make a big difference.  So, if you don't want to tackle a paint job try switching a few knobs.

 These are so sweet.

Time Table

I have this friend and she has the best stuff!  I was able to peruse her storage room once and was drooling over all the fabulous furniture she has! Some of it has been matriculating into my shop (which I love!) and every piece I secretly covet.  I actually told her I was going to steal this one. :)  It's so adorable!

I literally have been looking for something to put this knob on for 6 months! lol  It finally has a home. Yea!!  You guessed it~
I LOVE it!!

Really like the distressing on this, too.

Bench

My client bought this and when she got it home said, "eh".  :)  I know I've bought more than a few things I felt that way about (and a few of them are sitting in my shop!)  I was so glad she brought it over.   Hopefully a little paint can fix this little bench right up. :)

Perfect spot to put your shoes on!

Love that it looks casual, but has something special, too.

Old Window

Tis the season for rummage/estate sales and I see lots of old windows up for grabs.  Just a quick post to show an idea one of my clients had for hers.  I think it turned out so cute.  Table is from this post.

Simply painted it black and distressed it--something you could do at home with a can of spray paint and a sanding block!

Happy pickins!!

Tool Box Makeover

My awesome son made this great little tool box for a Scout project.  He's trying to make some money (gotta love that capitalist spirit!) and said if I painted this for him he could make more money off of it. lol  Well, I can't decide if I want to give it up (cuz he made it, of course), but he wants the $! Hmmm...might have to buy it from him (but then his dad said he had to pay me for my labor-lol).

I layered a beige, off white, and white, then sanded, and stained lightly around the edges.

The graphic is from The Graphics Fairy LLC* and I used the same method as in this post.

Would be perfect as a craft caddy or on the kitchen counter for all your utensils/napkins.  And, of course, it is of the sturdiest construction! ;)

FOR SALE: $20 (he said it's negotiable) ;)
dimensions: 17.5"W x 7"D x 10"H
