What Can You Spray Paint?

Just about ANYTHING your little heart desires!  The reason for this post is just to tell you that a can of spray paint can be your best friend and a cheap fix. :)

I was looking for a planter and this cutie was on clearance and was just the right size and shape I wanted, but I didn't like the color for where I wanted it (it's cement).

So, I ran it to my shop, whipped out my favorite can of spray paint, and in less than 5 minutes had exactly what I wanted!  How easy is that?!

Ok, two things I learned....1) cement is very porous (I even painted it when it was slightly damp cuz I am that impatient and there was no way I was waiting for it to dry out!) and 2) you can't distress cement.  lol

I painted this like I do everything else...a coat of primer, two coats of paint, and sealed it with an outdoor clear coat (also in a spray can!).

Perfect!

So, now that the weather is (relatively) nice, grab a can of spray paint and go paint something!!  Woo hoo!
