I LOVE paint!

This would be the companion to this dresser I just finished.  It's a nice piece of furniture (solid maple) but was totally just ho-hum!

Seriously, love paint!  This was so ugly before.  I hardly ever say that about the things I pick up but I said it about this one.  It's so sharp now. <3!!

The veneer on the other dresser was yucky so I was really pleased when I sanded this down and it looked like this!  Very unique.  I stained it with Early American from Minwax and I love how warm it is now.

These hammered black knobs are so simple and understated and that's what I like about them! :)

  1. Gorgeous! And just the right amount of distressing on the edges! The top turned out great too. Love it!

  2. Looks awesome! It really makes me realize you can make anything look awesome! Its a great project to link up at our wonderful wednesdays linky party!

    Have a good one!

  3. I would have had no idea what to do with that before and probably wouldn't have even bothered. You've done a lovely job! Perfect in black and the top is really nice.

  4. Amazing transformation--you gave it a new life!
What do you fill the hardware holes with? They have completely disappeared!

  5. LOVE the black and the light distressing!!

Love your comments! Please feel free to leave one!! <3
