Another quick post before our GIVEAWAY tonight! Be sure to stop back and go here to enter!
A friend saw this on CL and asked me what I thought. I love the lines of a tall, think lingerie chest, so I told her I thought she should snatch it up. :) Her daughter is so much fun and loves color! She requested an eggplant color with green knobs.
When I started working on it I noticed it was another particle board and plastic piece, so filling and drilling holes for new hardware was out of the question. I kept the old hardware and sprayed it in oil rubbed bronze and just changed out the top knob. I think it turned out cute (and maybe green knobs all the way down the front would have been a little much?).

Why is drilling new holes on plastic and particle board out of the question?
ReplyDeleteI guess ignorance is bliss, because I've done it successfully more than a few times.
I've also read one cannot strip veneer. Again.... more than a few times.
I'm almost afraid for you to answer my question, because once I know, it'll probably start NOT working out well! [LOL]
