ReplyDeleteI LOVE the vanity with harlequin detail on inset. As soon as I seen it, I thought it would be perfect to turn into a sink base in a bathroom. Ok, a sink base in MY bathroom. We are refinishing an 1860's Greek Revival that was a former B & B and are turning 3 of the bedrooms into a master suite. (https://www.facebook.com/OurGreekRevival if you want to swing by). Wish I lived closer to you, this would be enjoying a spot in a new master bath!! ;0)

You just can't find these pieces reasonably priced enough or being in the right place at the right time to refinish them where I've been. You make me want to get busy and give up some of my old things I've been told not to refinish to new paint!! Just for fancy!

And you have found great pieces with some good bones to refinish. Sure is fun looking at what you've come up with! I wish this style had been "in" when I was younger and refinishing many things back to their natural state....Now to downsize I might just become inspired to paint a few things! Lovely work!
